The Arenal Volcano Horseback Ride runs through the
hacienda of Los Lagos Hotel, Spa & Resort and the tropical
rain forest, following a route that leads to Los Juncos Lake
and passes through Los Lagos Viewpoint. From there, on a
clear day, you can see the imposing Arenal Volcano. It then
continues through an area of primary tropical rain forest to
Lake Los Lirios, giving you the opportunity while on
horseback to occasionally observe birds and other local
animals, as well as the exuberant vegetation.
The guide leading the tour carries a first aid kit and vehicle
assistance is available at all times via radio communication.
