Description

Experience Arenal’s only wild frog sanctuary at night,
when the colorful tree frogs and other rainforest
wildlife are most active and easiest to spot. At least
28 species of frogs have made their home in the
Arenal Oasis ponds. The Rojas Bonilla family
carefully maintains the native plants of Arenal, to
create the necessary habitat for frogs in this private
wildlife reserve of fresh spring-fed ponds; within a
rainforest refuge that connects the rainforests of the
Arenal Volcano and El Río Burio. The night tour
continues past the frog ponds along flat trails
immersed in the noisy nocturnal rainforest. The guide
will point out the animals that are hiding from you.
